Several companies have been releasing iKrusher disposables as of late. iKrusher is a brand of disposable vape that Ohio cannabis companies can buy and fill with their own types of oil, such as distillate, CO2 oil or live resin.
Typically I am not a big fan of disposables due to their single-use nature and hit-and-miss airflow qualities. iKrushers, however, are known for excellent airflow, big clouds and low leakage. I’ve had a one gram Certified iKrusher die on me 3/4ths of the way through, so it can happen, but it’s rare.
The iKrusher Micro Uzo is the specific model I’ve seen in the Ohio market. The device is small and discreet at 2 and a half inches long and a half inch wide. It easily fits in a palm or pocket.
Certified Melted Belts One Gram Live Liquid Diamond iKrusher
It is also easily misplaced, so watch out! I’ve had people tell me they’ve lost their iKrusher while out in the field. Thankfully, the device’s rubbery grip prevents pocket slippage. There’s a USB-C recharge port on the bottom, and the device easily stands up on a flat table. The battery life lasts long.
Klutch recently released their own one-gram iKrusher at a competitive price point, $35 at most dispensaries. They use the same oil that they put in their carts and lusters, a full-spectrum CO2 oil that does a great job at preserving terpenes from the original flower.
I haven’t tried Wellspring Field’s live resin iKrushers, but I did get a chance to sample Butterfly Effect’s Black Jack live resin iKrusher and it was excellent. It tasted just like their Black Jack flower but in live resin form! I got a distillate iKrusher at Rosin Fest from Juice Box that wasn’t very good.
Certified fills their devices with live liquid diamonds, which is the most powerful form of oil I’ve experienced out of any iKrusher. When it comes to taste and effect, the Certified iKrusher is the closest thing I have found to doing a portable dab. The extraction method is butane and propane, so the oil is considered live resin, not solventless rosin.
When they are available in dispensaries, Certified iKrushers usually sell out quick. They are strain-specific and made in relatively small batches to ensure quality and consistency. The two-gram Certified iKrushers have a white hue and from what I’ve heard don’t have too many issues with clogging onwards from the device’s half-life.
During the past several months I had noticed how King City seemed to only make flower products. They didn’t do carts, pods, disposables, edibles, extracts, tinctures or topicals. That’s why I welcomed the surprise when I saw Bloom had stocked King City live rosin disposables processed by CannAscend Ohio.
There were several strains to choose from, including favorites such as Aloha Lion, Lemon Mintz, Animal Mintz, Blueberry Muffin and Truffle T. After much internal debate and struggle I went with Truffle T, as I had given the flower a glowing review last year. I wanted to find out if the rosin tasted like citrus candy similar to the flower.
The Truffle T live rosin disposable came packaged in a black opaque bag with gold-colored font. The device itself had a bit of a unique design. It was a 3.5 inch long, 1/2 inch wide cylinder-shaped black stick. There were shiny little King City logos printed all over the thing.
King City disposables have a nice look and feel to them.
It is wide enough to stand straight up on a table or flat surface. There is a USB-C recharger on the bottom. The tail end of the device lights up orange while charging and during each draw.
The mouthpiece is made of glass, similar to some 510 carts I’ve seen in the past. I used to get Barely Legal Hemp Granddaddy Purple HHC-O carts that had similar mouthpieces to these King City disposables. Those things were one of the only “Delta” products that ever gave me any sort of medical effect, and they truly tasted great.
The remaining oil level is easily visible through the King City disposable’s glass mouthpiece. When I initially opened the device it was only half full. I understand it was only a half gram, but to buy a device that contains fire oil that could have been a full gram is a bit of a disappointment.
There are no buttons to be found on these King City disposables. They are breath-activated and ready to rip right out of the package.
To my knowledge there is no way to change the temp or perform a preheat function. When the device had about 25% of its oil left it did start to clog. There were a few times where I had to channel my inner Sergeant StrongLung in order to clear the clog on this thing. Never once did hash splash into my mouth.
One great aspect of these vapes is that they are live rosin, so they taste absolutely amazing. The flavor was true-to-strain, just like fresh, hashy Truffle T flower. I got citrusy, almost orange candy notes, but I had a friend tell me they tasted more of a pinene flavor. I guess it just depends on your taste buds.
While it did smell a bit loud, the hash was smooth and easy to inhale. Besides the clogging I experienced towards the device’s end, the disposable’s airflow was acceptable. It took about five or so seconds to produce a decent-sized cloud.
Due to the half gram nature, this live rosin disposables did burn through pretty quick. After a day of use I noticed how much of the oil had already dissipated, so I slowed down in order to maximize the lifespan.
Medically, the 74% THC live rosin disposable hit pretty hard. After a few drags of this thing I realized that I don’t really get high when consuming distillate. From what I saw the King City rosin disposables are priced lower than most other rosin and live resin vapes.
It’s not often that I’ll give a 10 rating for taste, but I honestly believe the Truffle T live rosin disposable deserves a 10 for taste. How could it get any better than this? It’s authentic, hashy and non-offensive. It tastes like the strain from which it came.
I gave the device a 3 for harshness, 9 for strength and 8 for smell strength. The medical effects lasted about 45 to 60 minutes.
Processed with ice water, heat and pressure. Dose: 14mg per 7 second inhale. Net weight: 0.50 grams.

A few months ago I was at Therapy Cannabis Dispensary in Cleveland on Lakewood Heights Blvd. At the time their special was buy an Airgraft pod, get an Airgraft 2 battery for free. I was tempted, but couldn’t help but think to myself, “Another new pod system and battery type? How many do I actually need?”
Seeing how I had batteries for 510 carts, luster pods, and AiroPods, I passed on the Airgraft 2 special at Therapy. However, as the weeks went on, I couldn’t help but remember all of the great things everyone were saying about Airgraft pods and batteries. Some people even said it was their favorite pod delivery system. Since I had 20 dollars worth of Bloom loyalty points, I took the plunge and got the battery at a discount.
Airgraft is a Canadian company that makes cannabis vaporizer batteries. They are not to be confused with Buckeye Relief’s Airo, which is a separate battery type and pod delivery system. In the United States, Airgraft hardware can be found in Ohio, California, Missouri, Washington, Colorado, and New Mexico. Here in Ohio, Airgraft pods are processed by Standard Farms.
The Airgraft 2 battery is made from aluminum and measures 2.75 inches in height and about a half of an inch wide. It’s matte black with only an Airgraft logo, light, and sensor on the body. I am not sure what the sensor does, but the light shines while charging via the included USB-C cable.
When you insert a pod, the light pulses green to indicate sufficient charge or orange to tell you there’s a low charge. No light pulse during pod insertion means the battery level is very low. When this is the case, the device will not pulse while taking a hit.
Each Airgraft pod is stamped with a QR code that brings you to a website with info on the strain. You’ll find info on THC and CBD percentage along with terpene information. You can create an account and register each pod in order to build a digital collection of the pods you’ve tried. You do not need to activate a pod in order for it to produce vapor. Activation only adds the pod to your collection on the website.
One of the most unique aspects of the Airgraft 2 battery and pod system is the heating mechanism. There are no heat settings as you’d see on a 510 battery or the Klutch luster battery. Each pod contains a computer chip with terpene info that is read by the battery. The Airgraft 2 automatically adjusts to that specific pod’s perfect temperature, and you can tell with the taste! Airgraft pods are among the cleanest-tasting vapes I’ve ever sampled.
Airgraft pods attach to the device magnetically similar to a luster battery or Airo battery. Their mouthpieces are easy to clean and don’t have a thousand nooks and crannies like luster pods that seem to be fuzz magnets. One thing I really like about the Airgraft 2 unit is when a pod is inserted, it looks as if it’s part of the battery itself. On a 510 battery it’s often clear that the cart is a separate piece from the battery, but with Airgraft it all appears as one piece. It’s sleek and well-designed.
While the Airo battery delivers a steady vibration through the duration of your inhale, the Airgraft 2 delivers a short pulse of vibration every two seconds, referred to as “1 portion”. This allows you to really dial in your draw length to suit your current needs. When I am looking for a lighter session I’ll take 2 to 3 portions per breath, which provides a respectable cloud of vapor. For average use I will go 3 to 4 portions, and if I am looking for maximum medication I’ll go 5 or maybe 6 portions. 10 portions is the largest amount the device will allow per hit.
There are no buttons on this device as it is breath-activated. The Airgraft 2 battery is without a preheat function, so you have to clear clogs the old fashioned, manual way, with lungpower. While I haven’t had too many clogs so far, it does make you wish they had built a preheat function into the device. I remember being frustrated when trying to clear clogs with this thing.
Although the aluminum body is well-made and durable, it’s very slippery. It can easily slide out of your pocket if you’re not careful. Hopefully for their next generation of batteries, Airgraft adds a rubber grip similar to Klutch’s luster battery.
The marketing material claims the device can go up to two weeks without being charged. I am not sure if I was doing something wrong but my device needed charged once throughout the life of my first pod. Airgraft also claims their pods last up to 40% longer than the competition. My demanding lungs demolished the Airgraft oil at a rapid rate, but I do think they lasted a bit longer than most other pods. Definitely not 40% longer though. 1 gram Airgraft pods would be a welcomed addition to any dispensary within driving distance! So far I’ve only seen .84 gram Airgraft pods.
I’ve heard from others and noticed myself that Airgraft pods seem to stop working while there is still a bit of oil left. I noticed my hits tasting wicky while a small amount of oil was still left in the chamber. I seemed to fix this by keeping the battery and pod on its side for a bit before taking a hit in order to get the oil to ooze to the sides. You’d think the oil would need to move towards the bottom of the pod but for me, keeping the thing on its side seemed to extend the life of a nearly-spent pod.
So far I have tried two Airgraft pods. The first was Electric Peanut Butter Cookies from Galenas and the second was Churroz from the Solid (Standard Farms). The Electric Peanut Butter Cookies pod had high terpinolene and limonene content. I could really taste it. There is no question that the terp-specific heating system of the Airgraft 2 battery does its job. These pods taste really, really good.
The Churroz pod tasted surprisingly similar to an actual churro, with powerful vanilla and cinnamon notes. This pod was less expensive than the Electric Peanut Butter Cookies pod and I could kind of tell. It was harsher on the throat and nose and it had much more of a botanical taste to it. The Churroz pod also seemed to burn up faster than the Electric Peanut Butter Cookies pod.
With all things considered I have to say that the Airgraft 2 is my current favorite vape pod delivery system. The taste is truly a step above the competition. The sleek design fits well in the palm and has the look of a disposable. The breath-activated function works well and provides good airflow. The pulse system that provides vapor in “portions” helps to gauge your hit size. I did experience some issues with low battery and clogging but it was nothing out of the ordinary. If you’re prepared to accept yet another battery type into your life, I think you will enjoy the Airgraft 2 battery and the wide array of pods to which it’s able to give life.
