Review of Klutch Sherbang #22 Hybrid Flower

I have yet to sample some Klutch flower I didn’t like. They have many strains I haven’t tried. I view this as a research opportunity. I saw that tenths of their Sherbang #22 hybrid flower went on sale for 40% off, so I picked up a jar for review purposes. I didn’t get a chance to weigh it before my initial sampling.

According to this strain’s official website the lineage is Sunset Sherbet x HB. A strong, skunky OG marijuana odor is given off by these nugs. The closed jar could not contain the smell once the seal was initially opened. There is a sweet, almost blueberry hint to the smell that doesn’t quite translate through to the taste. To me, Sherbang #22 tastes dank and gassy.

This stuff was pretty sticky. It stuck to my fingers as I broke it up. THC residue remained on my fingers even after washing my hands. The flower held its own when run through a grinder, turning into a fluffy, malleable mixture of marijuana mash. It stuck to the teeth of my grinder and I had to use a titanium toothpick to get the chunks out.

Sherbang #22 burned with an acceptably slow speed in both bowl and joint. The ash was lightish gray in color. The flower itself was green with some yellowish tone and slight darker notes. Small orange pistils stuck to the bud. There was a tight trim with some slight stemmage throughout the nugs. It passed the squeeze test being a tiny bit spongy but respectably dense.

For taste I gave Sherbang #22 a 7 out of 10, 3 for harshness, 7 for strength, 8 for smell strength, and 60 minutes for length of medicinal effects. The strain felt like a middle of the road hybrid effect-wise and it was strong enough to where it gave me good pain relief. I would buy this strain again at the right price.

There was detailed terpene info, not just the top 3 or 4 terps like you often see listed on labels. Terpenes (mg/g): Limonene 9.17, Caryophyllene 4.79, Linalool 2.92, Myrcene 1.92, a-Pinene 1.59, Humulene 1.51, b-Pinene 1.46, Fenchol 0.83, Terpineol 0.79, Ocimene 0.60, Bisabolol 0.50, Nerolidol 0.32.

Ohio Hash Shopping: Butterfly Effect Lemon G BHO Badder

A few weeks ago I realized I haven’t sampled enough hash from the Ohio program. The only way to solve that problem is to buy hash from dispensaries, go home, and consume it.

After much consideration I went with .85 grams of sativa Lemon G BHO Badder from Butterfly Effect. I love sativas and lemon-tasting cannabis, so I figured this would be a safe bet.

It weighed exactly .85 grams, not a hundredth more.

I give it a 9 out of 10 for taste. It was lemony fresh but didn’t taste artificial or like Pine-Sol. I ranked it 3 out of 10 for harshness (10 being the harshest), 8 out of 10 for strength, 7 out of 10 for smell strength and 45 to 60 minutes for the length of medicinal effects.

Doing a dab of this hash not only gives me full-body pain relief but also energizes and inspires me to exercise and create.

It is slightly terpy with the terp juice visible. It is easy to work with but not like a putty. It is almost like a sugar but a little thicker.

Delta-9 THC: 25.08mg, THCa: 659.94mg. Dose: 14.05mg (1 scoop, 0.02 grams).

King City Blueberry Muffin Flower Review: Flavor & Potency

King City Garden’s Blueberry Muffin is a hybrid strain available in tenths, fifths and halfs. My batch was 28.6% THC and high in caryophyllene and myrcene.

Upon opening the jar of King City Blueberry Muffin I was welcomed with a powerful blueberry scent that made me look forward to the consumption session. The chunky buds were coated in visible trichomes befriended by many orange pistils. The overall color was bright green with some slight darker notes throughout. My tenth consisted of three nice-looking buds weighing 2.85 grams.

The scent of this bud was so strong that it stuck to my Santa Cruz Shredder. When I would run other types of cannabis through my grinder, they would smell and taste like Blueberry Muffin. I had to give my grinder an iso bath to get rid of the smell.

This flower was not at all harsh on the throat or lungs. It kept the blueberry taste throughout the entire session and I noticed a pleasant aftertaste. While the buds were a bit dry and not very sticky to the touch, they didn’t vaporize or burn too fast.

The ash color was light but there was some greyness throughout. I’ve sampled the Imperial version of King City’s Blueberry Muffin and the ash on those buds was white as arctic snow.

Overall I think this flower is worth buying. Some people have told me the first few batches of King City’s Blueberry Muffin was better than what’s currently in stores. Based on my experience I can say the Imperials version is superior in density, moisture level, color, bud size, burn time, and amount of visible trichomes. Even with all of that said, this is still a solid bet for anyone who loves blueberry flavors in their marijuana.

I gave this flower an 8 out of 10 for taste, 4 for harshness, 7 for strength, 8 for smell strength and 45 to 60 minutes for length of medical effects.
